| Illustration may not be what it used
to be, but Michael Trossman sure is. His stuff from the past still looks
great (see the Vicious and Rotten). And the new stuff looks fresh and
full of life. Why is that? It’s because Trossman can actually
draw! His work isn’t just traced photographs. When most of today’s
magazine illustrations have long since been deleted—his (Michael’s)
new drawings and paintings will look just as good in another 20 years. |
